Once upon a time, Mars and Venus were chatting about the state of the solar system. Mars said, “Have you noticed that Earth has caught a nasty skin disease called humans?”
Venus replied, “Yes, I have. They seem to be destroying the planet’s surface.”
Mars chuckled, “Well, the good news is that this disease doesn’t seem to be very intelligent. It’s only a matter of time before it destroys itself and disappears.”
Venus agreed, “That’s a silver lining. But I heard that the humans have developed some advanced technology. They’ve even sent probes to us.”
Mars raised an eyebrow, “Really? That’s concerning. We need to keep a close eye on them and make sure they don’t spread their disease to us.”
Venus nodded, “Agreed. Let’s just hope they don’t become smarter and figure out how to travel to other planets.”
Mars shuddered at the thought and they both went on to discuss more pleasant things in the universe. But deep down, they both kept a watchful eye on the Earth and the pesky humans, hoping they wouldn’t pose a threat to the rest of the solar system.
